Hostgator has always been awesome. I guess when I first started using them I figured they were awesome too. I can’t remember exactly, though. It’s been quite a long time. I started using Hostgator back in high school when I was setting up gaming sites for my friends and I to tinker on. I can find quite a few faults with almost all of the other hosting companies that I’ve used but I haven’t had any grief with Hostgator so far.

Account Setup Feedback

Setting up with Hostgator is pretty much as easy as can be. The basic, standard situation: you pick your hosting package, enter your information, pay for it and you are up-and-running. Add your databases and start FTP’ing your websites immediately. No muss, no fuss. If you need help, just submit a support ticket or even call them on the phone.

Host Reliability

This is why I’m writing this review: Hostgator is the #1 webhost, hands down. I’ve been to all the “big” webhosts out there and this is the one that I have always come back to. They are simply that great. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else.

Pricing Info

If hostgator doubled their pricing tomorrow, I would still pay it for the level of service and the reliability that they provide. My website is up, loads fast, and I don’t get spam from them. What else can you ask for? Nothing, that’s what. Hostgator is awesome.

Final Host Comments

Hostgator is awesome. Stop messing around with those other website hosting companies. They will bite you at the wrong time, when you really need them to be there for you. I can’t count how many times that I’ve lost revenue because I got a surge in traffic to one of my sites that was potentially very lucrative only to find that my website went down as a result of it. I’ve never had this problem with Hostgator so I keep all of my most important websites with them.

I haven’t really used their online or their telephone support for anything since everything has always been pretty cool since I started using them so I don’t really know.
