Web Group offers $50 in free advertising with Google, Yahoo, and Facebook totalling $150 in advertising credits. Web Group also offers the ability to design and launch your first website in minutes utilizing over 25,000 templates.

Web Group also offers a fully featured Ecommerce hosting package ranging in price from $19.95/mo to $99.95/mo for those that want to launch their first online store.

The Web Group basic Linux hosting and Windows hosting packages start at $11.95 a month, with no setup fees. The benefit with Web Group is the advertised price is a monthly plan with no contracts to sign. The price can be reduced by $1/mo if you prepay for one year or by $2/mo if you prepay for two years in advanced but these options are optional and not required. Adaptive add-ons are available so if, for example, you'd like to step into the world of Ecommerce, you won't have to start your site from scratch.

Web Group uses their own web-based control panel and it has attracted mixed reviews (positive and negative) from their customers. The Web Group control panel is fairly easy to use, allowing for quick set-up and simple managing of databases.

Web Group offers very limited customer support options. Based on our review of their site, we could only find a toll free telephone number for sales and a different toll free number for technical support. The only other method is by using the support email address provided on their contact us page.

Web Group is missing a lot of the customer support options that we've grown accustomed to and expect to see out of every web hosting company. Currently, Web Group does not offer a knowledge base, live chat, community forum, server status updates, uptime monitoring, video tutorials, or even an international number for those outside of the USA.
