My first thoughts of VPSLand were very cost efficient hosting.
During the inital sales process the representitives said all of the right things to make me think I was making the right choice in signing up to them.

During my time with VPSland, I had various issues including:
Unable to Send Emails on Port 25
Regular Reconfiguration of the Network Adaptor DNS Settings which caused issues with the main configuration of the VPS.
The first issue was declared to be a "user configuration issue" and they profusely refused to acknowledge they were blocking port 25 however as soon as the configuration was changed to a non-standard SMTP port though another SMTP relay provider, this outgoing email worked. Also ALL of the email configuration walkthroughs on various websites (undertaken to demonstrate to the support team that documented methods were being used to test the configuration) did not work. If they had admitted their systems blocked port 25 then I would have been a little more sympathetic rather than just blaming a user configuration error.
With regards to the DNS configuration, the support team repeately stated that the DNS would not be reset and within 24 hours the configuration was being changed, this happened 8 times in the last week and sadly it was a setting they were managing through their virtuozzo control panel rather than letting the VPS admin decide the config.

IF the VPS was set to reboot there was a 50/50 possiblility that the VPS would hang and the only way a reboot could be implimented is by rebooting the hardware node.
This has been the only VPS which I have found which does not reboot properly

Good pricing, however the overal service you get for your money does not make it that good value for money.

Took longer than the stated time, but it worked once it was set up.

If you have a VERY Simple VPS requirement which does not require any more than a basic IIS configuration and possibliy a service like PLESK then they are your VPS Providers.
If you actually a VPS so you can take the next step beyond using the cheap hosting solutions online then you are better off finding someone else.
If they are unable to resolve an issue they will go silent and just ignore the fact you have an open support ticket, if you do finally get a response it will be blaming a user configuration issue rather than the root cause being something they have configured specifically.
You have more chance spending a little more money for a more reliable VPS host.
My Final Overall VPSLand Rating: 1/10
