I had never heard of StartLogic until on of my friends signed up for a shared hosting plan with them. He said it was the easiest process he’s ever gone through for a shared hosting package and since I was in the market for a new hosting company, I decided to give it a try. I’m glad that I did because StartLogic is a million times better that the company that I used for a nearly identical web hosting plan before it.

Account Setup Feedback

I had no problem with setting up this account. Everything was very straightforward and my site was up and running in no time.

Host Reliability

In the beginning I found that my sites were experiencing slower load times, especially with some browsers, but the problem went away before it became a real issue.

Pricing Info

StartLogic is comparable to most other companies that offer shared hosting packages. I think that StartLogic is a good option because they add in a lot of the things that most companies skimp on—like throwing in the free domain and including Front Page. The features they add in aren’t anything incredible, but they are options that start to add up with a lot of other hosting companies.

If you want to get away from your current web hosting company, I think StartLogic is a great option for most people—especially if you aren’t extremely tech-savvy. Their customer support reps are great, especially for beginners, and you’ll really feel like they’re trying to help you rather than just get you off the phone as soon as they can.

I have found that StartLogic has a much better customer support system than some of the other bigger hosting companies. They don’t bother me unnecessarily with requests for feedback and always answer my questions quickly. I never feel like I’m waiting in line to speak with one of their support reps.
