Here is what Mark had to say about StartLogic and the overall experience with their web hosting service.
I have to say that I have been with start logic for well over 3 years now and haven't had any major problems until this past week. My website went down and has been offline for 3 whole days! I also had no customer communication for the whole time I was down as the email wasn't working either.

Account Setup Feedback

From what I remember from three years ago, I had little problem signing up.

Host Reliability

My site went down because one of their servers went down. They were able to tell me that their equipment was down conclusively after three days of being offline. EVeryone before then said that I have to wait for their network engineers to contact me before I could get an answer.

Pricing Info

I signed up with them initially because their prices were excellent.

Final Host Comments

I'm currently trying to move to a different host like HostGator so I get better service. Hopefully I'll do better there and people who read this will be more aware of startlogic. I dare people to try to call or live chat with startlogic right around now and tell me how long their wait times are. It's absolutely absurd.

The most aggravating thing during this outage was I couldn't reach anybody from startlogic and when I did I had to deal with their lack of knowledge or solution. Iam no computer guy but I know that waiting over an hour for phone, chat or email support is horrible. In fact I have currently been waiting for someone to answer their chat and phone for over an hour and 35 minutes with no luck.


I never had this much trouble with customer service ever!
