Based in Phoenix, AZ, StartLogic Inc. is founded in November 2003 by Thomas Gorny. While the hosting company is relative new in the business, they are building up pretty fast. At the time of writing, they are hosting more than 100,000 domains.

StartLogic offers three major hosting plans: PersonalLogic, ProLogic, and VPSLogic. ProLogic is the StartLogic package of choice and is their most popular hosting plan. ProLogic offers unlimited hosting including unlimited disk space, unlimited bandwidth and unlimited hosted domains. StartLogic offers $75 worth of free Google and Yahoo ad credits, a free ratepoint subscription, and instant, free domain and hosting setup.

StartLogic currently runs a promotion via our visit links that promotes a discount price that is below average compared to other web hosting companies listed at customer hosting reviews. Currently, their ProLogic package is priced the same as their cheapest limited package for a limited time.

When StartLogic first started, they began a massive marketing campaign that jump started a massive influx of customers that StartLogic seemed to struggle handling. Over time, customers continued to struggle with StartLogic web hosting and experienced a lot of reliability problems.

Since then, StartLogic was purchased by a web hosting conglomerate Endurance International Group and service has improved. Endurance moved all existing customers to their own platform and servers and we've seen a lot less complaints about StartLogic's reliability.

Endurance is still known to overload web servers to fit enough customers on a web server in order to turn a profit. However, Endurance appears to have a much better handle on web hosting in general. Based on recent feedback received by customer hosting reviews and other independent review websites, the most common complaint regarding StartLogic customer support is that they outsource customer support and the staffed support agents are obviously not speaking English as their primary language.

Many complaints regarding StartLogic support are inability to understand questions, inability to quickly solve easy issues without rewording your questions, and slow response times when the ticket system is used.
