SiteGround was founded in 2004 and currently provides shared web hosting, business web hosting, reseller web hosting, cloud hosting, and dedicated servers. SiteGround provides web hosting to over 250,000 domains and utilizes 1,100 servers located in 4 geographically dispersed data centers.

SiteGround is still establishing themselves as a reputable web hosting company. Based on our research, SiteGround isn't as popular as many other web hosts and hosting reviews do not get posted as regularly as we'd like for comparison reasons. However, overall, SiteGround appears to have a generally positive feedback tendency from their customers.

SiteGround provides unlimited disk space and unlimited bandwidth but their pricing for basic shared hosting only allows for one domain to be hosted. Additional add-ons can be purchased to allow for up to 6 hosted domains in total. If you need to host more domains than 6, SiteGround offers business web hosting, reseller web hosting, and more to accommodate your needs.

We were unable to give SiteGround a 5/5 for pricing because they charge setup fees for their business hosting and higher plans. You also must purchase an add-on package (undetermined cost) to host more than one domain with your web hosting account.

Based on our research of SiteGround web hosting, reliability will vary depending on the web hosting package you choose. If you are leaning towards the shared web hosting package, you will more than likely be placed on a server with many other customers. If you opt for business hosting, SiteGround admits you'll be placed on a server with 10x fewer accounts.

SiteGround offers premium reliable web hosting at a price with their cloud hosting. Their cloud hosting, currently around $100/mo. will provide you with excellent reliability and uptimes.

Depending on your needs, SiteGround will allow you to grow as you need. If your site ever becomes slow on their shared web hosting, you can always upgrade to their more enhanced packages. If you site ever explodes with traffic, you should be confident that SiteGround will be able to handle it with their current upgrade path.

They also offer the Fantastico easy installation script library that offers over 50 open source software packages such as WordPress. cPanel is the most popular and most requested control panel that the web hosting industry provides for easy web account management.

SiteGround claims to provide excellent customer support and promises response times less than 15 minutes. SiteGround says that their support system is multi-tiers and staffed with knowledgeable IT experts with industry specific experience.

Based on our testing, we were unable to contact SiteGround via Live Chat. Their system sent us to a page that requested we call with any questions. We also reviewed their forum which also had some complaints about customers being unable to reach them via live chat.
