I am in the 'test drive' phase of the web site builder program offered by Sitecube. So far I have seen only a few limits, like you can't move fields around, so if you get to the middle or end of your data entry and realize you want this page over here and that page over there, you are kind of screwed, because you have to start all over, you can't slide the pages over like other site builders. Also the pages are limited in that you can't desig them with columns and mix it up with pictures. You get one page with a tiny amount of space to write something. You can add up to 10 pictures on the main page but they can only be viewed one at a time and the viewer has to click them individually. No slideshow feature that I have seen so far is available. If you need more space, you can do subpages off each main page, but you only get one picture to the side with this and again, a small space to write what you need. There is a scroll feature to scroll for longer paragraphs and written data, but I have found this feature a little clunky so far. It is not smooth and sometimes doesn't work, so your wording gets cut off mid sentence when you view the preview. The photo gallery is a feature but again it's awkward and doesn't seem to feature a slideshow option or other effects. The user has to click on every picture to bring it to the front to see. Also, if you don't add text to describe each picture, like I didn't want any words with my photos, the actual site displays the photo with the title 'your text here' under it. So I had to go BACK and type meaninful text for all 20 photos I had already uploaded in the gallery. Not cool.
Probably the highest recommendation I can give is for the design element. The selection of templates is the best I have ever seen and I found EXACTLY what I wanted, which wasn't easy since I am VERY picky.
Beware, the trial site builder gives you almost all of the features to play with, but the basic package that runs only about $10/mo, or $120/year, leaves many of these out, so to get the site you actually pretend to make will be about $450-$900 upfront depending on whether you choose a one or two year subscription.
It's hard to give up the site I have half designed through the trial period, which is their gimmick but I can't blame them for having a great reel'em in strategy, and I'll never get that perfect template anywhere else. My advice is to only minimally add content, and just pretend content at that, not anything you really are invested in. Remember this is just to test the features. Don't do what I did which is add actual content that I spent hours over and now I may not even purchase it.
I am still considering this company and hope to come across more reviews so I can make a more informed decision.
