For the most part my hosting needs are pretty minimal and I was looking for a fresh start because my old hosting company was terrible and continued to overcharge me for the services I had subscribed to, even though I called them each time! Pair.com seems to be a better option for my business hosting needs at this time.

Account Setup Feedback

Another thing I wish was different- a setup fee applies. However, the entire process for account setup was not too bad and I didn’t have any problems despite being a relative newb to a lot of this type of stuff.

Host Reliability

Pair.com says that they moniter their networks constantly which means that if something messes up, it won’t cause your sites to go down for hours before someone notices. Since I’ve been using pair.com (probably about 4 months now) I haven’t experienced any downtimes or lagging for my couple of business related sites.

Pricing Info

I think that the plan rates are pretty good considering the level of reliability of this business hosting service. I do wish that they had devised a different structure for the over-usage fees, although I am glad they specifically, and clearly outline the charges that will apply if you exceed your monthly transfer allotment which is based on the plan you choose.

Final Host Comments

So far, Pair.com’s business hosting service is a good match for my needs because I didn’t need a lot of the extras that come bundled with some other services. Even though it’s a little more pricey per month than some of the other hosting services, I still feel like I’m getting my money’s worth and not getting cheated on the plan I’ve bought.

It’s a good thing that I don’t use Customer Support too often because their line is only open from 8am-8pm, which is the one thing that I do not like about this hosting company. However, their after hours email support people do reply quickly which helps to redeem the fact that their phone line isn’t 24/7. I think that as they grow, they will most likely expand the hours of their phone service.
