I read up on my host, just as any concerned consumer may be about any product and I saw some pretty positive reviews. One incident that scared me was how the host went down for around 3-4 days but I heard that it was a technical problem and it handled its customers with great satisfaction. I contacted the host personally for a custom package and was always replied to promptly and politely. It made the initial transaction very easing for me as I was looking to make a solid investment for the future.

As I said above, MKOH had great customer support. They had personal and detailed responses that I could tell were not part of "canned" texts" as many hosts use. They sent out trackers for all of the support tickets and had many of the same people work on your problems so the support technician became very familiar with the type of problems you would experience or the solutions you would be looking for. This was very key as many times the problem would occur and the technician would be able to restore the site just to my personal likings!

Over my time at MKOH, I would give them an 8 on reliability. Even though I have not been with them for over a year, I have seen my site go down a couple times or experience a bit of a sluggish feel to it. I think that is normal with any host, but as always, they were very prompt in service to reboot and restore.

I asked for a custom package that called for a bit more storage and bandwidth then normal and they were very fast at making the package and getting me on my way. After contacting their customer support about other hosts and their packages, MKOH reassured me that they valued my business and they wanted to maintain a better price so they re-priced the package to beat out other hosts. I fully recommend them to all types of people: budget or not.

As soon as I inquired about payment and an account with MKOH, they were very fast at setting up an account for me as well as getting me set up on a server to start uploading my files to my site. I think the initial setup illustrates a lot about a host and I give two thumbs up to these guys!
