At first, I was not too sure that I wanted to go the VPS hosting plan route because I wasn’t very familiar with how it worked. After I looked into it a little more I realized it was the perfect option for me because there is no way I need an entire dedicated server (and I don’t want to pay that much either). However, my sites were starting to overload my old hosting plan. I liked lunarpages because it wasn’t too gimmicky but seemed like a good and solid option for VPS hosting. I also liked that it had the 30-day money back guarantee in case I changed my mind and decided that they weren’t right for me.

Account Setup Feedback

This is probably the only thing that I would have to complain about. It wasn’t terrible, but it did take me a while to get through all of the set up processes. At least they don’t charge you a set up fee.

Host Reliability

The site says 99.9% up time and I believe it. I have not seen anything to make me believe otherwise.

Pricing Info

Pricing is within reason and I like that I can host an unlimited number of sites with the space I have. The pricing scale is set for a 12 month contract and I’m not sure if they offer shorter contracts for increased monthly rates or if you have to sign up for 12 months.

Final Host Comments

Lunarpages.com has been everything that I needed for my VPS hosting service and if all goes according to plan I will continue my contract for several more years until I need to upgrade to a dedicated server account. Who knows, maybe I will continue with lunarpages even then.

I have contacted customer support quite a few times, especially when I was first becoming familiar with my new VPS hosting account. I always found the email support messages to be entirely sufficient in answering my questions whenever I had troubles. That is pretty impressive because normally I find that it is much easier to solve problems when you actually have a customer support person on the line with you.
