I’ve used other webhosts before with varying degrees of satisfaction, but LunarPages came highly recommended for their level of service and uptime. Since, more than anything else, I need my website to be online and functional, that is a large selling point to me. I’m always willing to pay a little more or deal with a few less “bells and whistles” if the host can just keep my site online and loading at a decent speed.

Account Setup Feedback

I’ve had no problems setting up my account at Lunar Pages so this area also gets a 10 out of 10.

Host Reliability

This is the main thing for me: reliability. If my customers come to me just once and tell me that they couldn’t access the site and I find out that it’s the hosts fault, then I’m dropping that host. I realize that no host can guarantee 100% uptime, but they can guarantee 99.99% uptime. That should translate into my site being up all year long with maybe 10 minutes or so being down out of that entire year. If that’s the case, then I’m fine. However, repeated instances of being down are unacceptable. And that’s how you have to set the precedent when you do business online. So far, Lunar Pages gets a 10 out of 10.

Pricing Info

The pricing is phenomenal for the level of service and the reliability that I have gotten from this webhost. I’ve used a lot of other hosts in the past and I use several other hosts at the present time for other projects but every hosting package that I have purchased from Lunar Pages has been tremendously cost-efficient for what they offer. Again, 10 out of 10.

Final Host Comments

My conclusion is “so far, so good” with Lunar Pages. I simply cannot find anything to complain about. I can rest easy knowing that my websites are online and loading fast for all of my visitors and I don’t have to sweat getting calls about them being down. I know that I sound harsh when I say that I will pull my website from a hosting company at the first mention of it being reliable but in today’s hectic business climate a non-loading or even slow-loading web page can leave a very bad impression about your business on potential clients.
