I’ve always liked liquidweb’s hosting plans and even though I could probably go with a fairly large shared hosting plan, I wanted to go with VPS due to the increased control you have over your account. Liquidweb has always seemed like a very reliable hosting service with a lot of happy customers. You know that when people actually like their hosting service, instead of just tolerating it, that it must be something worth looking into.

Account Setup Feedback

There isn’t much to say. It was a decent process. My only complaint is pretty much to all hosting companies. I think they should have a better system for presenting the menus and forms that need to be completed during the account setup system because current methods are just annoying for the user.

Host Reliability

I haven’t had to even think about reliability because it has been perfect the entire time my account has been up with liquidweb. This is something that you can’t underestimate because trust me, and unreliable hosting provider is one of the biggest pains you can possibly have to deal with on a regular basis.

Pricing Info

They have two distinct levels of VPS hosting: the smaller plan is 60 each month and the larger is 100 each month. I went with the first of the two options and it has been worthwhile for me. I enjoy that I finally have root level access to my server which is something I could never have until I stepped up from shared hosting.

Final Host Comments

Liquidweb’s VPS hosting is a good deal for me at this time, but hopefully my business will grow eventually and I will be able to expand to a dedicated server hosting account.

For the most part I do like the customer support options available to me through liquidweb, however, I do think that they could expand and include some more direct-to-a-rep ways of finding answers to problems. Sometimes I find myself spend a lot of time looking for an answer in their troubleshooting libraries and though I don’t mind ticket systems for customer support questions, I think that other methods are more effective and more helpful for the customer.
