Terrible...and a shame, as they used to be decent. The new company has bought them, gotten rid of all the previous tech support, and seem intent on running this into the ground and ripping off customers.

I used to really love Hostican, when it was small privately owned company. Their tech support was first rate, and their customer service excellent. They cared about their customers

I have a dedicated server, and I run a for-pay website which cannot afford to be down during the day.

However, PLEASE BE WARNED that Hostican has been bought by a new crappy company who are heavy on salesmen (to find new suckers) and have virtually no tech support.

You cannot speak to tech support, even if you wish, you must instead speak to "customer service" who are incapable of doing anything other than being inept and indifferent to your concerns.

This has gone from being one of the best little hosting sites around to just a horrible experience.

My site has been down for 5 hrs, and I cannot even get the firm to reboot my server, something which the old Hostican used to be able to do in 5 minutes.

I cannot access the WHM panel or the Cpanel, and they don't care.

HOSTICAN is NOT a host for any one who depends on their site for income, or has paying customers.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS service if you need to access your data, or expect to receive decent tech support.
