iPowerWeb Review

Here is what Will Kirkland had to say about iPowerWeb and the overall experience with their web hosting service.
At first, iPowerWeb was great. The pricing was right, the features were right on the money and the setup was easy enough. For the first couple of months that I had them, everything seemed to be ok. However, that changed after a while when my sites starting loading slow or not showing up online at all. I couldn’t deal with that for more than a couple of weeks and I had to drop them.

Account Setup Feedback

Not a bad experience. I knew what I was doing, though, so I didn’t feel the need to try to get in touch with them. It was after the initial setup that the honeymoon officially ended and iPowerWeb’s true personality came out.

Host Reliability

Awful, awful, awful. It was alright at first, no real problems. But then it just degenerated from there on out. I don’t know what happened. Maybe it was just that server that I was on but they would change me over to another server so I can’t be sure.

Pricing Info

Their pricing was always pretty good. Not much to say about that. Just that even if it was good, the service was so bad that it all evened out.

Final Host Comments

Perhaps I was on a bad shared server that they inadvertently overpopulated but that still doesn’t explain their horrible customer support via email. There are so many other website hosting companies out there that there’s no reason to put up with the shoddy service and support that iPowerWeb gives.

I didn’t find their telephone customer service to be all that bad, but every time I tried to email them it would be at LEAST two business days before I got a response, and even when I did get a response it was always a canned message. Two days to send a pre-written message? That’s uncalled for, in my book.
