iPower was founded in 2001 and is a well-known name in web hosting. Unfortunately, iPower, over the years, has not been able to make a good name for their brand due to many issues related to reliability, uptime, and good customer support.

iPower has focused on three primary web hosting plans to start your web hosting. iPower web hosting offers a starter plan that has limited disk space and bandwidth for $3.95, a pro plan that offers unlimited hosting including unlimited disk space and unlimited bandwidth for a couple dollars more and finally their pro plus plan offers all of the features of the pro plan but also includes a premium website builder with the ability to create an unlimited amount of pages for your website.

iPower offers what we'd consider a standard pricing schedule for their web hosting offer. Based on the unlimited plan's pricing schedule, iPower is priced right in line as average compared to other web hosts.

Unfortunately, based on web hosting reviews we've received, we've determined that iPower has a poor history when it comes to reliability. iPower has received many negative feedback ratings throughout the web including here on customer hosting reviews, web forums, and other independent hosting review websites.

iPower is currently using vDeck 4.0, the latest vDeck that offers easy access to website management, domain management, and Ecommerce services. vDeck is nowhere near as popular as other web hosting management platforms, and is considered by customer hosting reviews as a standard basic control panel that allows the web hosts that use it to reduce costs.

iPower has been known to use customer support based outside of the US. Many customers of iPower have complained of problems understanding their customer support when called, and have problems getting clear answers to specific problems using iPower live chat.
