iPage Review
Here is what James Kim had to say about iPage and the overall experience with their web hosting service.First three months was great. Two things will happen. First, when it comes to renewal your pricing plan will get jacked up to about $8/mos for basic service and they will add a whole bunch of extra charges on top of that. I had to talk to several billing agents before I finally got a manager to dispute the hidden charges. In addition, they make it almost impossible for you to transfer your whole website to another host. Propriety panel, not cpanel. Database migration a nightmare. Second, your website that ran quite fast the first few months starts running incredibly slow. A simple html page with hardly anything on it takes about 30 seconds to load now. Unacceptable if you are running any sort of business.

Terrible. I asked a question about transferring my Wordpress blog from a subfolder to become the main website and was told to delete it and install a new Wordpress! Over a year of hard work! They advised me to delete it? I googled "transfer wordpress" and found out Wordpress has import/export settings. Simple!
