Here is what Nicholas Edwards had to say about DreamHost and the overall experience with their web hosting service.I first thought it was giving a lot of features for a small price, which is still true today. I went with them because it was cheap and I could easily make my money back through advertisements within a few months.

It was set up very fast and I got started right away.
Host Reliability
The server hasn't been down (or I havn't noticed it being down) for the time I have been with them.
Pricing Info
For what their packages offer their prices are very cheap, and for a first time buyer you can use a code to get a fair chunk of the money off (I got $97 off mine).
Final Host Comments
I would recommend this host to anyone starting out, it offers more features than you will need, but they are useful to have in case you want to use them later on.

There is a phone line but I wouldn't phone it as I am not a US resident and it would cost me too much. Other than this there is a wiki which has a lot of information on it to help you get started, or even if you just want to clear up a few things. I still use it after being with them for 4 months.
