At first it seemed like a good deal. Since then, I've realized that I made a terrible mistake. I now seethe at how they have left me hanging, with no access to my site, no access to email, and lost in limbo of waiting for an answer to my support ticket. It can take 3 days or more to get a reply. Now it seems as if this company is on the rocks, perhaps not to survive the current crisis in evidence on their support forums.

Used to be good. Something has happened. Major problems, understaffs, and a raft of complaints. Now they say "So and so will call you back," and then ... nothing. Tickets go unanswered. Responses are things like "Seems fine to me," bla bla bla.

The sites/emails lately (last 10 days) have been down more than 75% of the time. Problems are "solved" only to reoccur 12 hours later.

Pricing is good. Don't be tempted. Pay more and get more, I suppose. Hostpapa might be good for people who want to put up a website but don't need it to be up all the time and who don't need it for email.

Something is wrong here. This company may be headed for trouble as there has been a major shift in the performance and customer service areas. I'm already researching another hosting company. I'll happily pay to be relieved from the nightmare that is Hostpapa.
