Loved that they would transfer me from my last host. Didn't want to get into a long contract, so their pay by month was great. Also, the price was right.

Account Setup Feedback

This was fast and impressive. Shame that their support and loyalty isn't as good.

Host Reliability

How can you rely on a host that suspends you with no warning? I can see bringing down your site if they fear hurting their other customers, but they don't even let you fix what is wrong. They have no customer loyalty.

Pricing Info

They used to be better than others, but they recently got rid of their low pay by monthly plan. Now it's $3 higher per month and you have to pay by the year. There are now many other cheaper hosts.

Final Host Comments

I'm still awaiting my backups, which were promised to me days ago. I'm beginning to doubt I will get them. Like one of the other reviewers said, hostnine expects you to be a geek like them. They want you to be their friend on their forum, but if you don't get involved with their community on a daily basis, they show you no loyalty during the slightest problem. I personally feel they found a reason to get rid of me, since I was on their old cheaper plan. They could have given me a chance to leave on my own, but they decided to suspend without warning, which totally cut me off from the control panel and my databases. For shame!

My first ticket was about downtime. They blamed another user and provided no further feedback. When they suspended me for no good reason, they wouldn't even let me fix the problem. It's one strike you're out with these guys. Unprofessional!
