Hosting Zoom is a privately held web hosting company out of Houston, Texas. Hosting Zoom has been in business since 2004 and provides shared hosting, reseller hosting, virtual private servers (VPS) and dedicated servers out of US and the UK.

When Hosting Zoom first launched, they were a reseller only web host that offered competitive reseller hosting packages. Since then, Hosting Zoom has expanded to offer basic web hosting to dedicated servers.

One thing that we find important to note is that Hosting Zoom does not appear to oversell their web hosting servers. The Hosting Zoom shared hosting plan does not offer unlimited everything like most of the other popular web hosting providers. If you are looking for a web hosting company that restricts everyone's accounts to a set disk space and bandwidth to ensure server stability, Hosting Zoom is your answer.

Hosting Zoom offers cPanel web hosting with a proprietary multiple server cluster with failover technology to maximize website performance and to eliminate prolonged downtime. This system makes it possible to run a website though the use of several different servers. Hosting Zoom provides a distinct advantage over most other web hosts with this technology since many other hosts provide a single server to serve websites which can cause problems down the line if a hard drive fails or some other hardware issue comes up.

Hosting Zoom offers cPanel hosting with their packages. cPanel is by far the best control panel out there and we are very happy to see Hosting Zoom uses cPanel for all of their web hosting packages. Hosting Zoom also provides Fantastico with their cPanel so their web hosting customers can easily install over 50 web applications with just a few clicks.

Overall, we are pretty impressed with Hosting Zoom's support options. Based on customer reviews, Hosting Zoom provides an overall good experience with customer support. Hosting Zoom provides a community forum that allows their customers to discuss their hosting related issues although the forum itself doesn't appear to be overly active currently. Hosting Zoom does use the forum to provide news and announcements and server status and this has been kept up to date as of this review.
