I saw their plans and went on their forums and got a good impression of them. I tried them out for a month and was satisfied.

Account Setup Feedback

My account was set up quickly, and the process was easy. Within a day I was able to access my account.

Host Reliability

So far, no down times that I can remember, and no slow downs either. I think the site only slowed down for a couple of minutes in a few instances. Probably another site used too many resources at the time, but after a while it went back to normal. And it wasn't a drastic slowdown either.

Pricing Info

The pricing is fair, better than some, but costs a bit more than others. However, it could be that the others have are not as good. But overall, the price is fair and affordable. I don't feel like I'm getting ripped off.

Final Host Comments

Overall Host Gator is worthwhile, if you need a good cheap reliable shared hosting Linux host. If you run a big site, then I suggest you get one of their more expensive plans as the cheaper plans won't supply enough CPU usage. As various people got their accounts temp. suspended for using more CPU than they were allowed to.

I usually don't contact customer support as I ask for help on either a forum or try to solve the problem myself. But I couldn't seem to find the solution to this error that I was getting off a script that I used, and it seemed to be because of the host's settings. So I contacted customer support and by the next day I got a response. Another time I messed up something in cPanel (it was my fault not theirs), and by the next day they fixed my problem as well.
