I walked away from another popular webhost VPS because of some of their policies that left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I found out about HostICan on a popular discussion board and they came out highly recommended by quite a few posters.

Account Setup Feedback

As I said up in the “Customer Support” column, HostICan made it easy as can be for me and their representative was willing talk me through the entire process until I was satisfied that everything was up to my standards.

Host Reliability

I can’t say enough about HostICan’s reliability. I am constantly trying to drive as much traffic to my websites as I can (and I’m pretty good at it) and I know that my customers are too. Because of that, I am usually on pins and needles because I am always afraid that, for one reason or another, someone’s site is going down. So far, that has never happened.

Pricing Info

For what you get, HostICan’s pricing is extremely affordable. Like another poster here said, go for the higher level VPS account (power) instead of the lower level (basic). You’ll be glad you did.

Final Host Comments

I think that I’m pretty picky about my VPS hosting and everything but I definitely recommend HostICan to anybody – particularly those that have been bitten before like I have by hosting companies that decide to pinch their regular, loyal customers. You will be pleasantly surprised that there are still companies out there like HostICan that still care.

Top notch in my book. Before I signed up, I called HostICan and had a half hour conversation with one of the customer service representatives who was clearly very knowledgeable about their hosting services as well as very technically proficient – much more so than me! He answered all of my questions and left me with a good feeling that I was trusting the right company. I’ve only emailed customer support since then, but I have always been satisfied with the replies that I have gotten back.
