I offer an all-inclusive website development and maintenance packages and I include hosting from my VPS account at Knownhost. While I have had VPS accounts at other hosts before, I’ve never been as impressed with price, quality, and support as I have with Knownhost.

Account Setup Feedback

Simple: If a dolt like me can set up a virtual private server account on Knownhost, anyone can. Plus, they have a huge selection of tutorials and FAQ’s as well as awesome customer support to boot. You can’t go wrong.

Host Reliability

I wouldn’t offer my customers hosting that I didn’t rely on myself and I certainly wouldn’t put my company’s reputation on the line with a hosting company that I didn’t trust to be dependable and have serious uptime and speeds. I also really like how they have a good reputation for being tough on spammers and won’t tolerate them as customers.

Pricing Info

Knownhost’s pricing is great. I have the “VPS Ltx” package and its well worth the few extra bucks a month for what I get and can offer my customers. Unlimited domains, subdomains, mailboxes, and MySQL databases as well as support for PHP, Perl, and Apache. It’s awesome. I and my customers are able to implement almost anything we want using Knownhost.

If you are considering a virtual private server, definitely give Knownhost a look. No matter if you are going to be using it just for yourself of if you are looking to resell the hosting to your customers, you can’t go wrong with them.

Before I even get into Knownhost’s support, I want to just point out that the tutorials and FAQ on their website have helped me out tremendously in implementing various features and just “learning the ropes,” so to speak of general hosting knowledge and things that are directly related to VPS accounts. Their customer service has been great as well. Whenever I have a question about my account or about one of my customers I just send in a support ticket and I get a prompt answer that is specific to my question, not just a pre-formed “canned” response. That’s important to me.
