I came across HostICan when I decided to step up my hosting plan from a shared hosting package with one of the biggest names in hosting to a dedicated server hosting package. I was interested in investigating all of my options before getting myself caught in a plan that wouldn’t really be the best possible choice for the things I need to do. My first impression when I saw the site was that they had very competitive features and pricing but my decision wasn’t made until I started talking to people about different hosting companies and this one seemed to be the one that generally came out on top.

Account Setup Feedback

Everyone always says that account setup processes are pretty tedious and though this one wasn’t bad, it wasn’t fun either. It was a pretty speedy process though.

Host Reliability

Serverpronto.com has 24/7 monitering so I’ve never had to worry about reliability at all. The site says that they have 99.999% up-time so I feel pretty good about my sites being hosted with them.

Pricing Info

For a dedicated server account I think that the basic rate is probably close to as good as you can find. The thing that made me drop the rating to an 8 is that even though the base rate is inexpensive, HostICan doesn’t include all of the extras that some services do and instead, they make you pay an extra monthly rate. Overall though, it’s still not a bad deal in my eyes. You should just check to make sure that the options you need will not cause your monthly rate to shoot up with the extra fees. They do offer free setup though and that’s one redeeming point.

HostICan was the hosting provider that I thought could give me the most reliable and still affordable dedicated server hosting and so far I’ve been right.
