Their site is cluttered and not easily navigable. You best bet is to call a sales rep with all you needs. The paypal payment option is certainly a great convenience. They don't allow you to monetize your parked domain names...but I guess that's what sedo.com is for.

Account Setup Feedback

I wasn't too impressed with the initial account setup. You will need a sound knowledge of shell and apache to properly configure the server to suit your needs. I believe it is done strategically to get you to purchase the additional support they offer.

Host Reliability

So far, I haven't experience any down time on my iPage account including that of my clients. They offer a variety of packages and always have service available. A few other companies I have worked with run out of dedicated services. This tells me that they are not sub-leasing servers.

Pricing Info

They offer several package deals but a little pricey for my budget. The support they offer for their dedicated server is relatively expensive compare to startlogic. The level of professionalism from customer service somewhat compensates for this, however.

Final Host Comments

Overall, they are a dependable hosting company to work with. They have an efficient account management system which facilitates domain management and purchase as well. The tdnam.com auction is a great feature but can be a little frustrating if you're not familiar with auctions. I will recommend them if you are willing to spend about $150 a month for support or have some sound experience with managing dedicated servers.

The customer service is great, but always confined to what you're paying for. They have company policies that prevent their reps from making certain recommendations as far as your domain auctions are concerned. They are very aggressive and can talk you into making several other purchases you did not budget for.
