I’ve been using HostICan shared hosting services for a while for some “fun” and amateur websites that I had up. I never had a problem with them during that time so I decided to use them when I decided to expand my hobby into something that I could make a living from.

I guess I can’t be too hard on the company since it was me that didn’t really know what they were doing but I called customer support a couple of times because I had questions regarding how to used some of the functionality that they make available to VPSs. I wasn’t always bet with the most helpful of customer service representatives and instead of answering my questions they gave me the link to a few websites that they said could. I looked at them but used Google to search for the answers instead. Like I said, not really their fault but I would have liked to have gotten an answer from them.

Just like I stated before, I think that their customer service could have helped me out a bit more in this part but I don’t feel that I can be too hard on them. I really didn’t know what I was doing at first.

Other than a few minor things, I think that HostICan is great. I mean, I’m still with them so they definitely aren’t bad. I think I just needed to brush up on my technical aptitude before trying to set the account up.
