I first visited Greenville Host because I heard about the really low prices. I noticed that the site looked simple yet modern, and fairly clean. I had heard some good things about Greenville Host, and it looked worthy of a try.

Account Setup Feedback

Account setup was painless. It's an easy process and doesn't take too long at all. I really liked that I could pay through PayPal.

Host Reliability

Being a budget host, I was a little worried about reliability. During my time with Greenville Host, I've only had one major noticeable outage. I couldn't get to my site for almost half a day. However, I do like the fact that when there is an outage, the owner posts it on the site, and doesn't try to hide it. He also does a good job of letting us know when maintenance will occur and if any downtime will result.

Pricing Info

The pricing is fantastic, and the main reason I went for Greenville Host. For only $3.95, I'm able to get unlimited disk space and unlimited bandwidth. Wow. I thought I might get shortchanged in other areas because its so cheap, but I didn't. You get unlimited MySQL databases, email accounts, subdomains, and lots of other goodies.

Final Host Comments

Greenville Host is a great host for a hobbyist like me looking for some cheap hosting. If you can't afford any downtime at all, then you might want to look elsewhere. However, if you just need a cheap host, then I can definitely recommend Greenville Host.

I haven't had to use customer support a whole lot. The one time I did, though, it took a fairly long time for my question to get answered. I think that's because the site is mainly run by one guy. That said, my question was answered and the problem was solved. The support, when it finally came, was great.
