HostICan has been pretty reliable for us. We currently use HostICan on their cPanel VPS plan called VPS-Rage. So far, we haven't had any problems with their service in the past 3 years that we have used them.

As for shared hosting, HostICan has had issues in the past with overly strict guidelines for resource usage causing HostICan error pages to unexpectedly display. However, since 2009, these issues have been resolved and HostICan appears to work closely with any "resource hogs" to ensure reliable hosting.

HostICan uses cPanel for their control panel. HostICan also supports the cPanel Fantastico script library with over 52 scripts that can be installed in just a few clicks. Not all hosts that support cPanel offer Fantastico so this is excellent!
