Though every hosting company has pluses and minuses, still I think HostGator is one of the most reliable shared hosting service provider. I have an account with them for over a year and my client does (Which I manage all the websites for) and we had no problems at all.

Well, haven't try their customer support too much, but as much as I opened a ticket - I got a reply and a solution to my problem. Also I like the 24/7/365 Live Support and Pre-Sales person who can answer to pretty many questions.

Well, I saw cheaper hosting services, but this is a average-cheap hosting to me.

No problems at all, all is done quickly and professionaly, the only minus is that they don't support domain registration at straight HostGator - you have to register at a partner website. But everything else is just great.

So as final statement, I recommend all small and medium business holders this hosting service. But if you're looking for an advanced solutions - there are still many wells on the internet to look the water in.
