Being relatively new to creating and managing my own sites (mostly blogs and a few personal sites), I was overwhelmed when I started researching a ton of hosting companies. I finally decided on one of the big guys of hosting—Web Hosting Pad. I initially chose Web Hosting Pad because I knew they were a big (and reputable) enough company that I could trust and they seemed to have an easily accessible customer service department.

Account Setup Feedback

Getting everything set up was probably the biggest challenge since I’ve started using Web Hosting Pad. Their homepage is a little cluttered and hard to navigate until you get a little more familiar with it.

Host Reliability

I have had no issues whatsoever with my hosting since I’ve started using Web Hosting Pad. Everything always loads quickly and looks great.

Pricing Info

When shopping around for hosting packages I found that Web Hosting Pad’s offerings were pretty comparable than a lot of their competitors. I think that their solid customer service makes them easily worth the prices. I’d rather pay a little more and have a great resource when I have issues with my account rather than pay a few dollars less and be completely lost when I have problems.

Final Host Comments

Even though there are hundreds of smaller hosting companies, going with Web Hosting Pad for my hosting package just seemed to make the most sense for me at this time. Rather than being abandoned to trying to figure out how to set up my hosting package on my own, the Web Hosting Pad customer service guy helped me step by step and then called back later to make sure I didn’t have any other questions. To me, that kind of customer service is hard to find. My only minor complaint about Web Hosting Pad is that their site itself could be a little less confusing - but hey, everything with computers is confusing until you learn it and get used to it - so that’s something I can deal with.

Web Hosting Pad’s great customer service is probably the most important aspect of the hosting experience for me. Since I’m not quite a genius when it comes to all the technical aspects of hosting, their customer service reps have been lifesavers for quick trouble-shooting and are incredibly patient and friendly with even the most stupid of questions.
