Here is what Alex Wu had to say about GoDaddy and the overall experience with their web hosting service.

At first, when signing up at their site, I was skeptical as they were pretty cheap, so I did whois searches on their domains. Their dedicated server domain was up for only a short time, so I decided to look more into them as a host. I found out that their dedicated server site (superbdiscountservers.net) was owned by superbhosting.net, so I did a whois on them and found out they were actually in business for quite some time.

Account Setup Feedback

Setup emailed me within hours stating that it was set up...I couldn't access it until about 24 hours later, otherwise it was excellent. I don't expect dedicated servers to come up instantly anyways.

Host Reliability

Other than once when they had a routing issue, I've had no downtime with them that I've noticed yet (I have no server monitoring going on). However, they did email me 24 hours before they actually set my server up, so I was kind of disappointed and kept trying to access my server when I couldn't reach it.

The routing issue was quickly fixed.

Pricing Info

Cheap. Very cheap. As conveyed in my first thoughts of this web host, I thought it was too cheap and so I had to do some research on them, but turns out they're still quality.

Final Host Comments

Although they look cheap, and may seem like it may not be reliable, so far for me, it's been a great experience. They answer my support questions fast, they've been up ever since I've had them (except for my own personal server reboots), and it seems they've been in business a while. Overall, I'd recommend you to go with them.

They're customer support is excellent, they respond to you promptly, and are able to give well-thought out answers that fully satisfy for your questions. They even called me on my phone to see if I was satisfied.



I would have rated them a 10, however, they do charge for anything they need to do for server work, which comes out to be quite expensive. As a shared/reseller host, I'm sure they would provide that free.
