The first time I heard of GoDaddy was through their Super Bowl commercials and I didn’t think much about it. However, a few months later when I was looking for a hosting company for my own personal business site, GoDaddy was the only hosting company that instantly jumped to mind. I did look around at some other options for hosting before I made my decision on which company would be best, but I finally decided on GoDaddy because it just seemed to have the best overall offering of services.

I have used GoDaddy’s customer support line many, many times and for the most part they have been incredibly helpful, especially during the initial set-up process. My only issue with the customer support is that there have been a few instances where it took the customer support rep a while to figure out what I was asking and also a few times when I didn’t quite understand his answers to my questions and ended up feeling like he could have explained things a little better. However, part of that complaint is probably my fault as I should have asked for more clarification before thinking that I had it figured out and getting off the phone in a rush.

In the past 9 months (the amount of time I’ve had my account with GoDaddy), I have experienced no problems with my site on my end. I have also had no complaints from my customers either. I assume this means that it is working fine with all mainstream browsers although I haven’t checked myself.

I found GoDaddy’s pricing system to be consistent with many other hosting companies. I consider it to be a good deal for the quality of services that they offer. (However, I do have one of the cheaper, less encompassing packages so I can’t honestly speak for the higher level packages)

The setup system was pretty automated and I didn’t have any trouble just inputting my information. I’m sure that their customer support reps would be happy to assist new customers with getting everything set up.

I’ve found GoDaddy to be the perfect option for my home business website hosting. I can’t think of anything off the top of my head that I would change because any annoyances I’ve had with my hosting have been mostly due to my inexperience.
