I like having the development URL for testing your site before going live. This allows me to test the site and make any changes before taking the site live on the new hosting. I am transferring several large accounts to EDT because I like their fast setup and good technical support. I called support on a few issues, and with each call I was pleasantly surprised to be talking to a live technician without having to wait on hold (the way i had to at my old host). i am very happy, and pleased that I found edt hosting.
