when i opened dreamhost.com and saw that they offering 200gb of space and 2tb of bandwith for just 8$ pm i seriously thought its a scam.But then i read on the net and found out that dreamhost is one of the leading companies in web hosting.So i decided to try them once.

Account Setup Feedback

The thing i liked most about dreamhost was there instant acount activation.I still remember paying 22$ with google checkout and my account was activated within 5mins , yes 5 mins.

Host Reliability

Sometimes my sites are a tad slow, but thats shared hosting for you. If I wanted blazing fast sites, I'd loosen up the wallet and pay for dedicated hosting. DH's shared hosting is plenty fast enough

Pricing Info

However while singing up for a year account i found that there's one column for coupon.So i searched the net again for the coupons and found a coupon COUPON97 .I entered that coupon and what i found on the next page was amazing.Total price i had to pay for 119$-97$= around 22$.I was like what the hell , 22$ for an year.I went ballistic.

Final Host Comments

So its been around 11 months with dreamhost and i can proudly say its a great host.I have read other reviews saying dreamhost sucks and all but from my personal review i will say i have had very few probs.

There customer support is pretty decent.All the techinal staff have a very sound knowledge and they provide you with the most apt and helpful solutions.



The only thing i want to improve is that customer care should reply fast enough.They usually reply within 8-9 hours however thats not acceptable according to me.I've never been ignored if I've had to contact customer service or support
