Well, I shopped around to compare prices and options before settling on FatCow, but it seemed to be the best all-around deal. Everyone that I talked to beforehand had nothing but good experiences (which is impressive because I have heard a lot of web hosting horror stories!).

Account Setup Feedback

Getting everything set up was slightly confusing only because there were so many steps. However, most of the information was easy to input on my own and I called customer support when I had a few questions and they instantly helped to get my hosting package up and running as quick as possible.

Host Reliability

I think that FatCow is probably one of the most reliable blog hosting companies (if not the number one most reliable blog hosting companies) out there, simply because they are so established in their field. The only time I’ve ever had a problem was when a few of my blog sites were experiencing slightly slower load times, but the problem went away before I found the time to call customer support to diagnose and fix the problem.

Pricing Info

For the level of service that you get with a FatCow blog hosting package, I think that the price is a great value and I would definitely recommend it to others without any reservations.

Final Host Comments

I think FatCow is the best option for hosting. That’s why I’ve stuck with them for over a year and have no plans to change any time soon.

I have to give FatCow a 10 on this because their customer support people are fantastic. I’ve never been put on hold for longer than a few minutes at a time and they are always quick to answer my questions without asking me a million of their own questions first. I’ve even had them check in periodically to make sure I’m doing alright! I have also had them call to thank me for my business, but they also wanted to ask me a couple of consumer research questions. Luckily, it was in the form of a message on my voicemail so I didn’t feel obligated to return the call to answer the survey questions.
