Account Setup Feedback

I can guess that lack of proper documentation is general problem, not when specific to dailyrazor.

Host Reliability

When system is working it is OK. Unfortunately, there are from time to time problems that usually will not be so serious with proper technical support. With the disastrous technical support like one from dailyrazor even minor problems are usually turning into disaster.

Pricing Info

Generally, the price will be OK with proper technical support but with current level of techincal support, it is too much.

On their web, dailyrazor is advertising 99.9% uptime guarantee. That means something less than 45 minutes of downtime per month. On the month when downtime has been more than three days, I've been refunded with 50% of the monthly payment. I do not find that an adequate refund for such big downtime.

Final Host Comments

I do not recomend use of this provider. Try to find one that is more reliable, with proper customer support etc.

At the moment I am considering two options:

a) to find another provider where I can get decent level of service for affordable price (since my web is not likely to make any money)

or

b) to abandon my web site for good

Every time when I have reported problem, technical support people are starting to play "blame the customer" game. Explanations are "it is working for us", "we can not reproduce the problem" or something like that. It is not uncommon procedure that support tickets are automatically closed without any action to fix the problem.



Recently, they migrated server to new server. Afte that, mysql database have not been working (properly) for one day. Serveral days after they fixed that problem, server has been rebooted and for two days nobody noticed that postgres server has nott been started. My complaints that server is not running have been ignored.



At the present moment, I am unable to establish SSH connection to host where my apllication is running. Fifteen hours after I submitted the ticket technical department have done nothing except "it is working for us", "we can not reproduce the problem", "we will keep you informed" and setting ticket status from "open" to "on hold".



Only word to describe that is complete disaster :-(
