Since CoolHandle is geared towards business class web hosting, their prices are higher than what our most popular web hosts listed on customer hosting reviews provide. However, since some of our visitors demand a higher quality web host that doesn't oversell their servers by offering unlimited domain hosting (unless you order their most expensive package, the Pro plan, which does).

Overall, we have determined that CoolHandle offers a better value for their higher prices. Their virtual private server hosting packages, however, offer very competitive pricing.

CoolHandle offers cPanel hosting with their packages. cPanel is by far the best control panel out there and we are very happy to see CoolHandle uses cPanel for all of their web hosting packages. CoolHandle also provides Fantastico with their cPanel so their web hosting customers can easily install over 50 web applications with just a few clicks.

Of course, with the higher prices that CoolHandle charges, they better offer great customer support, right? Well, we took a look at their customer support pages and came to the conclusion that the CoolHandle support options are somewhat lacking.

Only three customer support options. We don't even see an international telephone support phone number for customers outside of the USA.

CoolHandle is missing a ticket system, a community forum, and a customer support center.

The knowledgebase by CoolHandle is pretty good. The appear to be active maintaining their knowledgebase with recent issues, problems, and anything else that might come up. After customer hosting reviews inspected their knowledgebase, we discovered recent entrees dated this year, which is fantastic. Most hosts seem to load up their knowledgebase then forget it about it years down the road.
