My partner researched Bluehost before we even had an online presence and we decided to go with them over the more recognizable names in website hosting for a variety of reasons. We’ve been with them ever since we put our very first website online and I don’t see us turning back.

Account Setup Feedback

I don’t think that it can get any easier. I’m not a technical genius or hosting geek but I do know my way around so the totally automated setup is fine with me. I’m sure that if you know absolutely nothing about hosting that you will be able to walk through it fine as well. If not, hopefully you will get lucky and get a customer service rep that knows what they are talking about. That, or simply call back and keep trying.

Host Reliability

This is where Bluehost really shines. I don’t have the problems that I always hear about people having with other hosting companies like excessive downtime, slow loading pages, and crappy support software. This, to me, is the most important part.

Pricing Info

Bluehost’s pricing is phenomenal, to say the least. I’ve looked around at other hosting options but I always come back to Bluehost because of their pricing + uptime = a winner for me.

Final Host Comments

Other than their intermittent customer support (which, of course, may be just my experience with them) Bluehost has been great to us and we will continue to use them until something better comes along. So far, nothing has and I can’t really fathom something that much better will. Highly recommended.

I’ve never had another webhosting service before but I do know that Bluehost’s customer service could be a little better. Calling them is a bit of a hit-or-miss proposition. Some of the reps are great but some just seem to be interns or regular reps that don’t have any idea about the technical aspects of hosting. I have found that if I get a rep like that, the easiest way to get someone that does know what they are talking about is to ask an easy question and get off the phone and call back.
