I did not know what to expect. I think that I probably expected the best from BlueHost, but then again, there's a good chance that I was skeptical. I do remember being blown away by the results, though.

Best thing about this host is definitely the customer support option that they provide. I haven't needed them much (a blessing), but when I have, the support has been prompt. It has been a good working relationship.

A Linux host HAS to be reliable. I know that was the first thing I asked my friends about before I signed on with this host. Well, I have discovered that they are reliable in just about every way.
