I first visited Bihira because I heard about the really low prices. I noticed that the site looked simple yet modern, and fairly clean. I had heard some good things about Bihira, and it looked worthy of a try.

I haven't had to use customer support a whole lot. The one time I did, though, it took a fairly long time for my question to get answered. I think that's because the site is mainly run by one guy. That said, my question was answered and the problem was solved. The support, when it finally came, was great.

Being a budget host, I was a little worried about reliablity. During my time with Bihira, I've only had one major noticable outage. I couldn't get to my site for almost half a day. However, I do like the fact that when there is an outage, the owner posts it on the site, and doesn't try to hide it. He also does a good job of letting us know when maintinance will occur and if any downtime will result.

The pricing is fantastic, and the main reason I went for Bihira. For only $2.50, I'm able to get 2.5 GB of disk space and 250 GB of bandwidth. Wow. For $5, you can double those numbers. I thought I might get shortchanged in other areas because its so cheap, but I didn't. You get unlimited MySQL databases, email accounts, subdomains, and lots of other goodies.

Account setup was painless. It's an easy process and doesn't take too long at all. I really liked that I could pay through PayPal.

Bihira is a great host for a hobbyist like me looking for some cheap hosting. If you can't afford any downtime at all, then you might want to look elsewhere. However, if you just need a cheap host, then I can definitely recommend Bihira.
