I thought “wow, this reseller hosting is way better by numbers than any of the other providers I have come across” and then I wondered what the catch was. It turned out that one of my friends had been using knownhost (but I didn’t know that) so when I went to him asking if he had heard of it, he told me I had to get on board with them if I was looking for a reseller hosting service. So after that, I was sold on knownhost since he liked them so much and hadn’t found any catch or potential for getting ripped off.

Account Setup Feedback

It was a lot less intensive than some hosting providers.

Host Reliability

Knownhost has 24/7 monitering on all of its servers so I have never had to worry about reliability at all. Not having to deal with reliability issues has been great because I have a ton of other things to deal with relating to getting the service to my customers.

Pricing Info

Maybe I had just looked at reseller hosting plans with incredibly high-skewed prices but when I saw the prices Knownhost was offering, I was very excited about signing up with them. Their lowest level reseller plan called “KH Pro” on their plan chart is only 10 dollars a month and it lists 5000 MB disk space, 40,000 MB of bandwidth, and unlimited domains, subdomains, and FTP accounts as included in the package. I also like that you get a price lock guarantee when you sign up with Knownhost which means that your subscription rate will not change even if their advertised rates for the same reseller hosting plans go up.

I love Knownhost and I’m very glad I found them as the provider for my second reseller hosting account. They are much better than my previous hosting providers.

I think that Knownhost has a great scheme for customer support. It seems like a lot of companies that offer reseller hosting skimp on the options for customer support. However, I think it should be backwards. I wouldn’t even be able to consider subscribing to a reseller plan that would not give my clients ample ways to solve their problems in a quick and efficient way. They include 24/7 email support with all levels of plans which is nice because they don’t leave you to the tutorial libraries which have never seemed capable of answering any of my questions.
