AN Hosting Editor's Review

AN Hosting specializes in reseller hosting. Although, strangely enough, it isn't mentioned on the site since they redesigned the site, AN Hosting is strictly for reseller hosting. With AN Hosting, you'll be provided with cPanel and WHM so that you can resell their hosting or setup multiple cPanel domains on one account.

AN Hosting has a verify streamlined website that is very useful for new clients. AN Hosting makes it easy to order new web hosting, search for a domain, and then begin hosting.

Here is what AN Hosting says about their web hosting service:

AN Hosting was born in a basement office in early 2001 and in 2005 AN Hosting was acquired by Midphase, established providers of website hosting and server hosting, and is now collectively hosting over 150,000 domain names on a network of over 1,000 servers supported by true 24/7 phone, E-mail and live chat tech support.

We like to keep it simple at AN Hosting, and don't believe in hidden costs or gotchas. We only offer one web hosting account but when it's as inclusive as ours, why offer more?

Editor's Comments About AN Hosting Price Value

We at customer hosting reviews find that AN Hosting pricing for reseller hosting to be very good. Typically, reseller hosting starts at around $20 month and AN Hosting has reseller WHM service for well under $10 a month.

The only issue I can see is if they get hosting clients that want to resell hosting to many clients. Since AN Hosting is limiting domains to 20, there may be an issue. But for the rest, AN Hosting is an amazing deal for reseller hosting.

Editor's Comments About AN Hosting Reliability

At this time, AN Hosting is hard to judge on their reliability. This is because we can't find recent reviews other than what we've received here at customer hosting reviews. Quite simply, on other forums and other sources, there isn't much buzz on AN Hosting to make a good judgement. Since UK2 bought AN Hosting, there seems be less push on marketing from this company other than their drupal sponsorships.

We would love to hear from you if you have a recent experience with AN Hosting. Just submit a review and let us know, are they good, are they bad? Thanks!

Editor's Comments About AN Hosting Control Panel

AN Hosting offers cPanel control panel with reseller WHM access that allows you to setup multiple cPanel accounts through a single administration. Unfortunately, their website doesn't state that Fantastico is included on their cPanel so we are assuming it doesn't. Therefore, it will be much more difficult to install any open source software such as WordPress.

Editor's Comments About AN Hosting Customer Support

We tested the AN Hosting live chat and found our request for assistance answered within 20 seconds. Although the agent in question gave us a weird error that the customer service office was closed and to come back during normal business hours. Very strange. After the error though, we got an answer within 5 seconds answering the question. Our question was legitimate with AN Hosting, their site doesn't mention if the plan is actually reseller hosting that comes with WHM and cPanel. Once I got that cleared up I was able to write the full review above.

AN Hosting offers the following technical support options.
  • Sales toll-free support Monday - Friday 8AM - 8PM
  • Technical support toll-free phone support 24 hours a day 7 days a week
  • International phone support is available
  • Email support

AN Hosting is missing a lot of important support options for their customers which is why we ranked them the way we did. They are missing an easy to access knowledge base, they do not offer a community support center, no FAQs, and loads of other missing things. Essentially, their support page is not good at all. It basically has some text and links you to their contact page.

AN Hosting, your customers need access to more information. Not only does it help your customers, it also helps reduce support requests if they can answer the questions themselves. If you only make this available to the control panel backend, this is also a fault because you'll be losing potential customers that think their is little support.
