Alpha 1 Hosting is a full time, full service hosting company based in Los Angeles, California. We maintain data facilities in Las Vegas, Nevada, Tampa, Florida, and Fawnskin, California. Our goal has always been to provide the absolute best in support while maintaining a personal relationship with each of our customers. Although one might take from this that we are a small operation, in fact we host thousands of web sites and many, many dedicated servers. We aren't trying to become a monster sized company that seems to offer a customer everything that few will seldom actually need. We are a principled business that refuses to fall into that trap.
Using Plesk, Virtuozzo, and Ensim software allows us to offer the best in reliability, performance, and security. Our networks are also comprised of excellent hardware that includes Dell, Gateway, Cisco, WatchGuard, AMD, Intel and others. Using gigabit switches throughout, combined with physical firewall solutions ensures data integrity, low-latency, and security. Our network is housed in state-of-the-art facilities that each offer 25 tier 1 multi-homed data connections for automatic failover in the event of a network disruption. Our facilities are also equipped to handle serious Denial of Services (DDOS) attacks 24 hours each day using intelligent hardware and not just software that most hosting providers use.
If you are interested in a hosting company that offers you everything including the kitchen sink for $2.99 a month, we are not the hosting company for you. If it's okay for you to become just a number in a system where no one actually knows your name, we are probably not the hosting company for you. But if you would enjoy working with a company that promptly attends to your needs, answers the phone reasonably fast, and tries its best to not only remember your name but your support history -- we're here waiting for your call.
